This hair on calf hide was incredible! It is so stunningly soft! The hides were also well sized without any significant cowlicks that caused issues when cutting my pattern. It made the perfect miniskirt and collar accent to my plum drum dyed nappa leather jacket (also from leatherskins.com). I’ve ordered a lot from here and will continue to be a loyal customer!
I love it, it has a matte finish and temper that makes it good for harnesses. Looks beautiful with contrasting edge paint.
Have to see this leather in person to do it justice. Will make some nice accessories.

Color is even throughout. Color pigmentation is throughout. Leather is soft to touch. Very nice shade of blue. Gilt lines were easy to apply. Generous size at a great price.

This is such beautiful and soft leather. It is so great to work with. It sews up great with my sewing machine. It arrives in great condition and is not folded so it doesn’t have creases. The color choices are great!
Made quite a few things out of this leather. It's one of the most requested leathers I use. I already have several new projects slated for it as soon as it came in. I actually got shorted on a black hide on my last order and called to let them know and got an immediate response and received the shorted piece within a week. Fantastic customer service on top of great hides.
The leather is perfect for the tiny 1:12 scale dolls I make! There has been no other leather that I have found that is this perfect except some many years old grandmas leather gloves. It was such a wonderful surprise to find this leather!!! I plan to spread the word!

The thickness is consistent and color is even: well packaged and rolled not folded so it didn’t come with creases. No noticeable scaring. I used it for the liner to rebind a Bible. Color was perfect and matched description well. Shipping was average but came in a timely manner.

I have work with both the purple and the blue and both of them are fantastic and they look really great on the products I make which are so night swords of light the other thing I like is the quality of the leather is very good. It seems that the Italian producer of this material is doing a good job.
