About Floral Embossed Oiled Veg Tan Lamb Leather

Our Floral Embossed Veg Tan Lamb leather starts out as our popular Oiled Veg Tan Lambskin, and is then embossed with a gorgeous Sheridan floral pattern inspired by classic tooled leather. The result is a soft, lightweight floral embossed leather with the look of hand-tooled leather and the supple feel of premium lambskin.

Made from premium vegetable tanned lamb hides, Floral Embossed Veg Tan Lamb offers a beautiful aniline finish, a natural naked hand, and a glovey feel that makes it easy to cut, sew, shape, and wear. At approximately 0.8–1 mm thick (2 ounces), this embossed lambskin is ideal for projects that need flexibility, softness, and decorative texture without the bulk of heavier hides.

The raised floral pattern gives this leather a bold Western-inspired look, available in 6 bright, fun spring colors. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
