About Southwestern Tribal Pattern Embossed Cowhide Leather
Southwestern Tribal Pattern Embossed Cow Leather features a repeating arrangement of geometric motifs inspired by classic Southwestern design. The deep, crisp embossing creates a dimensional pattern, while the aniline finish and naked hand preserve the leather’s soft feel and natural character. Available in Turquoise, Saddle Tan, and Black, each color offers a distinct foundation for Western-inspired, Boho-chic, Streetwear, and statement leather designs.
These chrome-tanned cowhide sides average 16–24 square feet and measure approximately 1–1.2 mm (2–3 oz) thick. The soft temper makes the leather flexible enough for handbags, apparel, footwear, and accessories, while the durability of cowhide provides ample structure for finished goods. Use it for full-pattern pieces or as an accent material for bag panels, pockets, trims, boot details, belts, wallets, and other small leather goods.
Please Note
Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.
Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
