About Shrunken Bubble Grain Veg Tan Lamb Leather

Shrunken Bubble Grain Lambskin is a soft, vegetable tanned lamb leather with a naturally shrunken bubble grain and a crisp, tactile surface. Averaging 5–7 sq. ft. per hide with a 1.3–1.5 mm thickness, this aniline-finished leather offers a lightweight yet substantial 3–4 oz body.

The natural bubble texture gives each hide a refined dimensional look, while the soft temper and cushiony hand create a delicate, flexible feel with added depth and character.

Designed for elevated apparel and leather goods, this Shrunken Bubble Grain Lambskin brings a luxurious textured finish to jackets, soft handbags, accessories, and small leather goods. Its krispy grain, soft body, and sophisticated appearance make it ideal for designs that need both comfort and visual impact.

Please Note, the shrunken texture of this hide varies naturally from skin to skin.

Please Note

Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
