About Pleated Embossed Veg Tan Lamb - Black

Pleated Embossed Veg Tan Lamb is a striking premium leather that blends modern design with timeless craftsmanship. Made from high-quality lamb/sheep hides and vegetable tanned for a naturally rich, refined feel, this 2.5 oz material features a bold pleated ribbed pattern that creates a sleek geometric effect. Its matte finish enhances the sculpted lines, giving the leather a contemporary—almost futuristic—appearance that's unlike other embossed skins.

With a soft-to-medium temper and large hides averaging 8–10 square feet, Pleated Embossed Veg Tan Lamb offers both flexibility and structure, perfect for garments, handbags, and accessories. This leather is perfect for crafting modern messenger bags, statement jackets, chic skirts, or minimalist clutches and other accessories. The combination of natural vegetable-tanned depth and crisp embossed detailing provides a sophisticated, high-end look for designers looking to push boundaries with unique style.

Please Note

Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
