About Metallic Foil Plonge Cow Leather

Add shine and sophistication to your next project with our Metallic Foil Plongé Cow Leather, available in seven brilliant colors. This full-grain cowhide combines the strength and durability of traditional cow leather with the lightweight softness of lambskin, making it perfect for high-fashion and performance applications alike. Averaging 20–27 sq. ft. per side, these larger hides minimize seams for a clean, professional finish in apparel production.

With a lightweight 0.8–1 mm (2 oz) thickness, this chrome-tanned, foil-finished leather has a smooth texture, soft temper, and stunning metallic sheen that catches the light beautifully. Ideal for apparel, pants, hobo bags, accessories, costumes, and more, it offers flexibility, strength, and style in every cut. Whether you’re designing statement pieces or subtle accents, Metallic Foil Plongé Cow Leather delivers durability and glamour without compromise.

Please Note

Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
