About Heritage Natural Grain Pull-up Cowhide - 15 Colors
Heritage Natural Grain Pull-up Cowhide is a classic, full grain cowhide offered massive whole hides with an average size of 45–55 square feet. Chrome tanned but with a waxy, medium temper and a delicate pull-up effect that's reminiscent of tumbled veg tan, this premium cowhide leather is incredibly versatile, offering rich character to every project.
Featuring an aniline, waxy, dry-sealed finish with a gorgeous but subtle pull-up that allows the natural character of the hide to remain visible, the slightly pebbled surface has a natural, slightly buffed and mildly distressed grain that provides rustic yet luxurious texture with incredible versatility. With a medium temper and a thickness of 1.6–1.8 mm (4–4.5 oz), Heritage Natural Grain Cowhide balances structure and flexibility for a wide range of applications.
This leather is well suited for projects that require durability and a traditional look, including travel bags, backpacks, duffle bags, handbags, luggage, boots, chaps, and a wide variety of leather goods. Its consistent weight and versatile feel make it appropriate for rustic western gear, heritage-inspired pieces, heirloom-quality bags, saddle bags, dopp kits, accessories, and heavier garments.
Available in 15 colors ranging from earthy and natural to bright and eye-catching, Heritage Natural Grain Cowhide is one of the most adaptable leathers in the Leather Skins inventory and a reliable choice for crafters, makers, saddlers, western wear makers, traditional and modern leatherworkers alike.
