About Goat Grain Embossed Cowhide

Goat Grain Embossed Cowhide offers the luxurious look and refined texture of premium goatskin with the added advantage of a much larger cutting surface of cow sides. Crafted from durable chrome-tanned cowhide and embossed with an authentic goat grain pattern, this 3 oz leather delivers a beautifully textured, semi-gloss finish that enhances both visual depth and tactile appeal. Its tight, natural-looking grain makes it an excellent choice for designers seeking the elegance of goatskin without the limitations of smaller hides.

With large sides averaging 18–24 square feet and measuring 1.2–1.4 mm in thickness, this versatile leather is ideal for high-end handbags, duffle bags, structured footwear, boots, belting, and refined leather goods. The combination of durability, consistency, and upscale texture makes Goat Grain Embossed Cowhide a standout option for projects requiring both style and performance.

Please Note

Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
