About Glazed Distressed Cow - 4 Colors

Our Glazed Distressed Cowhide is a premium semi-aniline leather known for its vibrant color, natural hand, and beautifully aged, lived-in look. With sides averaging 18–24 sq. ft., it offers a large cutting surface with minimal waste. The 2 ounce (0.8–1.0 mm) thickness offers the ideal balance of flexibility and structure. Its semi-aniline finish and chrome tannage preserves the hide’s natural variations while enhancing it with rich, saturated color across four stunning shades.

This versatile material is well-suited for both fashion and functional craftsmanship. Whether you're creating handbags, wallets, footwear, structured jackets or sleeves, skirts, shorts, or other leather goods, this glazed distressed cowhide delivers long-lasting beauty that ages gracefully over time.

Please Note

Leather is a natural product. We strive to keep new lots within size, color, and quality tolerance, but some hides may have slight variations in size or color, or have natural imperfections such as scars or small holes.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
