About French Veg Tan Crocodile Embossed Lambskin Leather
Made in France, this crocodile embossed lambskin pairs a realistic, understated scale pattern with the supple feel of lamb leather. Its 100% vegetable tannage and aniline finish give the hide a natural look and rich color, while the embossing adds texture without overpowering a design. Available in Black and Dark Brown.
With a soft-medium temper and a thickness of 1–1.2 mm, this French leather has enough structure for handbags, wallets, and other accessories while remaining flexible enough for heavier apparel. It also works well for footwear and small leather goods.

Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.
