Conceria 800 Toscano Volanato is a premium Italian vegetable tanned cowhide produced by Conceria 800, one of Italy’s most established and respected tanneries. This leather is made using a traditional 100% vegetable tanning process and offered in single or double shoulder cuts, with average sizes ranging from 6–9 square feet for singles and 12–18 square feet for doubles.

Finished at approximately 1.6 mm (4–5 oz), it features a natural, grainy surface that reflects the character of classic Tuscan vachetta leather. The Volanato process enhances the natural grain, resulting in a consistent yet organic appearance across the hide.

With a medium temper and a notably soft, pliable hand, Toscano Volanato is easy to work with and well suited for refined leather goods that benefit from drape and movement.
