Hide sizes may vary. Leather square footage isn’t measured as a true length-by-width area — it’s based on the hide’s surface area before finishing or shrinkage. Tanneries calculate footage from the raw hide stage and stamp the size on the flesh (back) side of the hide. We use the measurements provided by the tannery, but some variation in actual size is normal.

Purchasing was super easy. Shipping was on time. I really didn't understand how to figure out the thickness of the skin as a novice to leather/suede. But the quality was great, especially for the price (I purchased a sale item).

The skin was too small for the project.
I was very happy with feel, size and weight... there is a bit of a smell to it (kind of musty) but I did not pay very much for it (was on sale and very affordable)...and what I received..... was worth it.. money well spent..can't wait to play with it
